Abstract
It is hard to determine which scheme is the best in the inspection process of transmission network expansion planning. To solve this problem, a mixed method based on entropy weight method and VIKOR method was applied to comprehensive decision-making of transmission network planning scheme. Entropy weight method can determine each factor´s weight objectively, so the effect of subjective factors and indeterminacy factors will be reduced in the process of evaluating. VIKOR method is an effective multiple attribute compromise decision-making method, which has been researched widely over the recent years and applied in many fields successfully. This paper, for the first time, applied VIKOR method to comprehensive evaluation for transmission network planning scheme, and established an evaluation model based on the entropy weight method and VIKOR method. Then the specific steps of the method to solve the comprehensive evaluation problem regarding power system planning were introduced. Calculation results of IEEE Garver-6 proved that the method is correct, appropriate and effective.
