  • Abstract
    This paper presents a smart antenna system based on TMS320C80 for mobile communications. We focus on the applications of the C80 in the smart antenna system and the software development. A brief comparison of the performance of the C80-based system with that of the C40-based system is also presented. An improved spacetime scheme employing the constant modulus algorithm is also discussed
