Abstract :
Power quality is the most important problem in power grid. The Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is a multi-function device which can settle many power quality problems at the same time. A novel signal-detecting method is proposed in this paper. The new method is only 4 times multiplication, one difference algorithm and 2 divisions. It has advantages on calculation speed and hardware implementation. It is a method which is based on constructing the reference voltage and current signals. Simulation results show its correctness and validity.
