Abstract
A new idea involving the use of a selected phoneme rejection loop to build the rejection grammar component is proposed. A new procedure to select the most convenient phoneme subset in order to construct the selected phoneme loop is proposed also. The new method yields a low error rate for both false rejection and false acceptance and the size of the rejection grammar component is very small
