Abstract
Three-dimensional lubricant deformations caused by applied stresses and surface tension distribution were studied through numerical analyses of the long-wave equation. Lubricant surface deformed corresponding to distributions of stresses and surface tension, involving secondary deformation due to mass conservation of fluid. Computations were conducted efficiently using ADI scheme.
