Abstract :
The Interactive Experimenter Planning System (IEPS) Group at AlliedSignal Technical Services Corp. has been developing expert systems for NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) since 1985. Several systems have been developed in the C language on IBM PCs and UNIX-based workstations. With the implementation of these systems, various generic, C-based tools for building new applications have been developed. These generic, C-based tools have now been organized into a toolkit called the IEPS Software Toolkit. The focus of this paper is on the IEPS Software Toolkit and its use. The categories of tools in the toolkit that are described include: data formatting and report generation tools, user interface tools, database tools, strategic planning tools and tactical planning tools
