Abstract :
This paper proposed the test technology of traveling wave location device based on the high-speed source of traveling wave, and introduced the embodiment, which use PSCAD, ATP simulation software to create all kinds of transient traveling wave signal data that considered the effect of secondary circuits on the transmit characteristics of wave on the laboratory background PC, and then injected traveling wave signals into the experiment device by using the high-speed source of traveling wave on the site. Traveling wave location tests both in the laboratory and on the site showed that the test technique based on the high-speed source of traveling wave is reliable and accurate.
