Abstract
This paper presents a new echo canceller using double talk detector based on the accumulated number of selection of the scale factor. Computational complexity of the proposed method is very simple because scale factor is calculated by the double-talk robust adaptive algorithm. Computer simulation using real speech signals shows that the echo canceller using the proposed double talk detector outperformed the conventional double talk robust echo canceller.
