Abstract
A very low spurious frequency doubler module for local oscillators is proposed. The key of this technique is to change the input signal into a rectangular wave, which effectively suppresses the fundamental frequency and the odd harmonic components. The maximum desired-to-undesired signal ratio (D/U) is 50 dB. The proposed doubler can eliminate the need for band-pass fillers (BPFs), which occupy a large amount of space in radio frequency (RF) equipment
