Abstract

This paper describes the iGrid, an international collaborative demonstration project to prototype next-generation network-based research and education tools, shown at the High-Performance Networking and Computing Conference, (SC´98) in Orlando, Florida, USA (Nov. 7-13, 1998). Also described is the current network infrastructure supporting international collaborations among researchers in the Asia-Pacific region, North America and Europe
