Abstract :
The combustion system of the circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFBB) is a complex object characterized by multiple variables, long time-delay, strong coupling, nonlinearity and slow time-varying, which make the combustion system hard to be controlled by using traditional control strategy. In this paper, we apply self-adaptive fuzzy PID control strategy to design controller for the combustion system, by taking a 300MW CFBB in Mengxi thermal power plant as example. The dynamical models applied in the designed controller are established based on running data, collected from the 300MW CFBB. By comparing with the decoupling PID controller, the results show that the designed self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller holds good control quality such as stability, robustness and speediness.
