Abstract
Photoconductive antenna is one of the preferred techniques for generating terahertz (THz) radiation. However, the emitted THz power is still low. It has been shown previously that the emission efficiency could be improved by adding indentations to the antenna structure. In this paper, an analytical model is developed to investigate how the indentations affect the antenna performances, and simulation results are also presented.
