Abstract :
This paper is aimed at explaining the rationale of the motion compensation strategy that must be applied during the SAR processing to compensate for trajectory displacements, and discussing the integration of motion compensation within high precision Scaled-FT based SAR processing algorithms. Experimental results carried out on simulated and real data are presented to validate the whole analysis and the proposed procedure
