Abstract :
A signal preprocessing system has been designed by the authors. It uses an adaptive filter to eliminate the noise caused by the heart sound from the breath sound signal. Pure breath sound can be obtained and provided to the analysis and classification system. This results in a more precise classification of the breath sound.<>
