Abstract :
In the recent years, the utilization of natural energy sources such as wind power and solar power has been increased due to the global warming countermeasure as a main reason. This paper focuses on the capability of controllable distributed generation to be utilized in power modifications effectively. We evaluated Mega-solar power modification by using the controllable distributed generation as a main methodology for this work. A model based on real operation measurements has been developed to evaluate the concept of utilizing the distributed generation in a proper way and size to improve power quality. Results show that the concept is applicable and quit suitable to be applied in large scale power systems.
