Abstract :
With the continuous development of ocean resource, detection and action of human in the seabed will be frequent. Underwater mating technology is a key technology for the transfer of people who live in the submarine and the supply of necessary goods. In this paper a novel underwater intelligent mating device with articulated skirt is designed. Mechanical structure, sealing principle, kinematics analysis and simulation of mating process, the project of hydraulic servo drive and control system of the articulated skirt are described in detail, and analysis result proves that the design project is feasible. As this device is used, underwater vehicles can resist current in best angle during the mating process. The device can ensure to mate safely, rapidly and accurately in the case of big declining angle, strong ocean current and poor invisibility.
