Abstract
The authors apply the MoM in the spectral domain to the full-wave analysis of aperture coupled microstrip antennas fabricated on a multilayered substrate containing one ferrite layer. Special attention is paid to studying the effect of the tuning bias magnetic field on the matching and polarization properties of these antennas. Some of the numerical results obtained are compared with measurements, and good agreement is found. To the authors´ knowledge, the current paper presents the first study of aperture coupled microstrip antennas fabricated on ferrite substrates.
