Abstract :
An approach of improved permanent magnetic actuator of vacuum circuit breaker is presented in this paper. By means of setting up the auxiliary opening coil and the auxiliary closing coil, the performance of the permanent magnetic actuator is obviously improved, as results, the closing and opening times become fast, the initial closing and opening velocities become high, the peak currents of the closing and opening coils become small, and the energy consumptions of the capacitors reduce.
