Abstract :
A description is given of the Platform Evaluation Module (PEM), the E3 (electromagnetic environmental effects) engineering core of ACAP (Avionics Configuration Analysis Program), a configuration E3 analysis and prediction tool. The PEM utilizes existing EM codes to minimize development efforts and to develop a standard product which utilizes EM codes endorsed by the military research establishment. By parameterizing the EM codes and their associated input and output vectors, the PEM can select the optimum EM code for the evaluation of specific EM problems. The ACAP typical EM code parameters matrix is presented
