  • Abstract
Data envelopment analysis (DEA) approach was applied in this paper to measure technical efficiencies of China´s cultural industry listed companies. Efficiency influence factors were evaluated through our econometric models. The results indicate that technical efficiencies of China´s cultural industry listed companies are not high, only 52.4% is technical efficient, and 28.6% is scale efficient. Among the cultural industry listed companies, the technical efficiencies of film and television companies are higher than advertisement companies and publications companies. The technical efficiencies of GEM board listed companies are higher than main board listed companies and small and medium-sized board listed companies. The regression analysis on efficiency influence factors shows that technology innovation ability has obvious positive effect on technical efficiency and is significant at 10% level, human resource has positive effect on technical efficiency but is not significant.
