Abstract
In an increasing number of instances, corporations are undertaking actions that improve the environment rather then degrading it. Examples of such actions are presented, and general approaches to determining environmentally beneficial actions (EBAs) are described. The benefits to the corporation performing EBA include financial incentives, regulatory relief, avoidance of future liabilities, and improved relationships with employees, non-governmental agencies, and the local community
