Abstract :
A novel common-mode (CM) EMI filter for a boost PFC converter has been proposed in this paper. This filter is inserted between the chassis earth and the reference ground of the PFC converter. Because no main current passes through the CM choke, the size of this filter is reduced largely comparing with the conventional CM filter. Experimental results verify that this filter can reduce the CM noise effectively. And it has almost same effects for reduction CM noise compared with the conventional CM filters
