Abstract :
This paper presents the use of a low-cost demo kit from Atmel to the implementation of a functional wireless sensor network for habitat monitoring. By reprogramming the existing application code, the radio control boards are capable to read a set of environmental sensors, transferring the collected data to a node coordinator connected to a computer.
