Abstract
Radar dynamic echoes modeling and simulation are important prerequisites and groundwork for target detection and identification. Taking linear frequency modulation (LFM) terminal guidance radar as an example, we first analyze the time scale of the quasi-static method in echo simulation, and establish the dynamic echo simulation model of ship targets. The motion equations of missile and ship were given in a typical attacking scenario, and the target dynamic echoes during the whole attacking process were simulated. The simulation results show that echoes reflect the characteristics of target motion very well, which provide data support for the further research on radar target detection and recognition.
