Abstract
Over the past decade, many service companies have seen rapid advances in the use of personal computing equipment. Companies have upgraded their computing equipment in order to keep current with the technology and allow for the use of the newest software. With this change out of equipment, several issues arise including asset management, asset recovery, end-of-life management, and new procurement strategies. The focus of this paper is to describe AT&T´s efforts during 1997 regarding end-to-end life cycle management of personal computing equipment
