Abstract :
Several practical aspects of the implementation of an array of ring radiators are investigated. Specifically, the sensitivity of the radiation pattern to finite tolerances associated with array implementation is addressed. The obtained results are presented in a tabular form convenient for a designer. The proposed configuration can be readily implemented as a receiving array using piezoelectric film or as a transmitting/receiving array using concentric hollow cylinders operating in longitudinal mode
