Abstract :
VLSI implementation of a programmable digital stack filter has been designed. The desired filter functionality is obtained in a flexible way by programming the contents of RAM blocks which control output selection. For a window size nine, 8-bit filter, nine RAM blocks of 256×1-bit are needed, occupying 40% of the core area
