Empirical research on the importance of incentive factors to life insurance agents

Abstract :
Many incentive schemes are adopted by the life-insurance company to encourage life insurance sales staffs to stimulate their potential, to improve performance and in order to improve the core competitiveness of the life-insurance company. The importance of all elements in incentive schemes has become the research core in this article. The pattern of questionnaire is adopted in the research to collect the firsthand information, which is designed according to the status quo of life insurance sales staffs and the basic incentive schemes usually used in life-insurance company and adopts Likert Five-point scoring method. Statistical analysis of data is done by applying SPSS12.0 statistical software, factor analysis done special to the importance of all incentive factors in questionnaire, accordingly the suggestions of optimizing the incentive schemes of life insurance agents.
