Abstract :
In this paper, a quasi-static model for the microstrip monopole antenna is presented. The electrical model is proposed and the procedure for calculation of circuit parameters is explained in details. The proposed model was realized using the Schematic simulator from Microwave Office, and validated by a good comparison to full-wave EM simulation performed in CST Microwave Studio.
