Abstract :
High-accuracy measurement of rotational movement error for a precision instrument spindle is considered. Starting from the principles of rigid body kinematics and the original measuring condition of the instrument, the authors develop a mathematical model for the movement error and its corresponding high-accuracy measurement method. Based on the theory, a model of the measurement and control system is presented
