  • Abstract
    A novel CMOS IF amplifier with a single-input differential-output signal converter is presented in this communication. The solution is based on a well-known transconductance amplifier structure, which is used in a rather unconventional fashion to provide gain control and high frequency performance. The amplifier also includes an auxiliary inverting follower which increases gain. The overall circuit performance is confirmed by simulations using a 0.8-micron process
