The clinical data of these patients were analyzed retrospectively. Orchiectomy was performed in 24 patients, orchiopexy was performed in 10 patients, 3 patients developped atrophic testis at half-a-year follow-up, 1 patient developped atrophic testis at one-year follow-up, 1 patient developped atrophic testis at one year and a half follow-up, the other 5 patients had the normal development with the same testis´ size and texture as other contemporaries upon follow-up. Timely diagnosis and treatment should be given to testicular torsion with 6 hours. The best treatment is surgical exploration for patient suspected testicular torsion. If the operation is not completed in time, the results are severe: orchiectomy, testicular atrophy after orchiopexy.
