Abstract :
A novel diversity-multiplexing decision switched algorithm is proposed for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system based on variable-rate MQAM. The proposed scheme is a closed-loop system, achieves adaptive bit and power allocation according to real-time channel state information (CSI), and the tradeoff between the diversity and multiplexing gains that can simultaneously achieved over a low-rate feedback channel with a little bits. The proposed algorithm takes minimum bit error rate as object, has lower cost can be easily implemented, improves the performance of the receivers, and achieves better bit error rate performance than the traditional suboptimal algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed decision algorithm achieves excellent performance.
