Abstract :
We propose a practical distributed coding scheme in half-duplex multi-hop networks, aiming at reducing the interference resulting from concurrent transmission by different nodes. Although interference is a fundamental obstacle to achieve high data rates in this scenario, a systematic approach to deal with this problem has not yet been addressed in the context of code design. We propose a general framework analogous to D-BLAST in MIMO communications, and particularize it to simpler scenarios. The proposed approach is validated by theoretical analysis and simulation results.
