Abstract :
To observe effect of extracts from Root of Mirablis jalapa on Morphine Dependent mice. Mice of models and jasmine root extract were given morphine according a gradually increasing dose scheme, in which the morphine dose from 8 mg/ kg to 75 mg/kg during 2 days. Mirablis jalapa extract groups use administration by gavage in the second day; normal group, models group use physiological saline intragastrically, naloxone is injected by lumbar injection 30 minutes after the last morphine injection. This study successfully established models of morphine dependent mice. Extracts by sherwood oil, Chloroform can remedy withdrawal syndrome of female rats, have significant difference with models group (P<; 0.05), extracts by water, ether and sherwood oil can obviously improve withdrawal syndrome of male rats in comparison with models group (P<;0.05). Extracts from the Root of Mirablis jalapa can improve withdrawal syndrome, concrete mechanism need study futher.
