Abstract :
We consider characterization of building interior structure from two-pass interferometric circular SAR data. We extract dihedral and trihedral scattering primitives that dominate mono-static returns from buildings. The 3D location of each scattering primitive is estimated using the phase information in two-pass data. Using simplified wall and primitive models, we match model signatures to the extracted features using a hypothesis selection and refinement loop. Examples illustrate the effectiveness of the feature extraction approach.
