Abstract
Signal separation plays a very important role in radar signal processing. The separation of radar signal and the background signals has great influence on radar signal processing. The traditional method has little efficiency when the background signal is nearly the same as the radar signal. Therefore, a more efficient method is needed. This paper is devoted to design a new type of mismatch network to modulate the transmitted signal of an active radar transponder (ART). With the help of the mismatch network, the reflected ART signal can be effectively distinguished from background signals.
