Abstract :
A novel electro-optic detection system has be used to characterize the temporal and spatial distribution of free-space broadband, pulsed electromagnetic radiation (MHz/THz beams). We report recent progress in ultrafast optoelectronics in E-field detection application. Basic concepts and preliminary results in the generation, detection, and imaging of pulsed electromagnetic radiation with electro-optic crystals are discussed
