Abstract :
In this paper, the stability of HaiBo Capsules was investigated and its expiration period for clinical application was predicted. Based on the guiding principle of drug stability test, factors affecting the stability of HaiBo Capsules, such as bright light, high temperature and high humidity were observed under light of 4500 lx, at high temperature of 40D and in high humidity of RH 75-92.5%, exposing in air for six months. TLC was used for the measurement of betaine content in Haibo capsules. The results showed that the colour of content, the time limit for disintegration and other test indexes fitted the quality requirement. The accelerated test for the stability demonstrates that the package of the preparation can ensure the quality of the drugs. The preparation should avoid an environment with high temperature and humidity and be kept in a cool, dry and ventilated place, which can make it safe, stable and effective.
