Abstract :
This paper researched effect of passive smoking on growth rats. 30 male wistar rats were randomly devided control group(CG), low dose passive smoking group (LDG)and high dose passive smoking group(HDG), LDG and HDG breathed in smoke of three and six cigarettes respectively, twice every day, one time was one hour, altogether was 35 days. Body weight of LDG and HDG was significantly lower than CG (P <; 0.05). NO and MDA in HDG had significant difference to CG in serum and lung homogenate(P <; 0.05), GSH-pox in LDG was obviously lower than CG in serum and lung homogenate(P <; 0.05), NOS and SOD in HDG decreased significantly to LDG and CG in lung homogenate (P <; 0.05). Passive smoking may lead rats growing decreased, perhaps passive smoking made rats oxidation environment change.
