Abstract
A railway station system includes complex interconnections and interactions of several sub-systems. Computer simulation is an efficient means for system evaluation and analysis. This paper introduces an event-driven simulation framework which is flexible to reorganize the different models and easily extended to distributed system. Under this framework, the station civil infrastructure model, the signalling model and the rolling stock model are constructed.
