  • Abstract
    An efficient discrete cosine transform (DCT) coding of chest X-ray images is presented. This coding method has a great ability to reduce the redundancy in the coding of chest X-ray images. Excellent performance is demonstrated in terms of signal to noise ratio (SNR), and in also by direct comparison of original and reconstructed images
