  • Abstract
    This paper details how the New York Power Authority (USA) has joined forces with Westchester County, NYSERDA, EPRl, US EPA, and US DOE to develop and demonstrate a fuel cell powered by anaerobic digester gas (ADG) at the Yonkers Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant. It is the first fuel cell to directly harness ADG energy. It represents a major milestone in reducing fuel cell electricity cost, expanding the diversity of its fuels resources, and expediting commercialization of fuel cell technology
