Abstract :
The function of most cab signalling systems is rather simple through it is vital; no self-test and closed-loop inspecting and control is performed. To set out the requirements of a cab signalling system to ensure that where the driver´s movement authority is indicated by cab display, the driver receives adequate and timely information regarding the movement authority and its limits. In this paper, a new kind of loop inspecting system of cab signalling is proposed based on the state-of-art virtual instrument technique. The system configuration and the operation procedure are introduced in detail, as well as the design principle of both hardware and software.
