Abstract
The method of solving of two-dimensional diffraction problems on gratings with perfect conductivity is considered. The initial problems have been reduced to systems of singular integral equations (in case of E-polarisation), and hypersingular integral equations (in case of H-polarization). The numerical solution of these systems has been obtained with the help of computing procedure proposed and justified. In this section the diffraction problem of E-polarized electromagnetic wave on periodic system consisting of beams is considered
