Abstract
The method of Riemann-Gilbert finds application in many problems of diffraction and propagation electromagnetic waves in the different periodic structures. It is a well-known fact that elements of periodic structures in this problem are assumed perfectly conducting and infinitively thin. This paper is an attempt to extend the method to the case of final thickness and final conductivity of the strips formed by the grating
