Abstract
Addresses analysis and design issues in decentralized control of multivariable systems. A continuous time decentralized controller, based on a modified control function of Lyapunov, is proposed for linear 2×2 plants. It is proved that when the H∞-norm of the subsystems interaction quotient is less than one, this modified scheme guarantees global stability and zero tracking errors
