Abstract :
Hierarchical location registration can reduce overheads for a microcellular networks of PCN for operation management, as more work is distributed to the lower stage of the network. A modified model is presented to evaluate the inter-registration time. Numerical results are obtained. Its comparison with the previous model shows that the modified model is more accurate
