Abstract :
Effects of mismatch on CMOS double-balanced mixers are studied. The mixer is analyzed as a two-stage circuit. The effects of mismatch, including second-order intermodulation, feedthrough and degradation of conversion gain, are discussed for each stage. A relation between processing-induced variances of transistor parameters and mixer performance is derived
