  • Abstract
    Web service matchmaking is a key issue in service oriented computing. Following the distributed nature of service providers in the peer to peer network, we designed a distributed web service discovery architecture and proposed a matching method based on semantics. Firstly, we designed a service content model of the provided services for service providers. Then, we implemented a distributed content management framework based on web service alliance, and proposed a service matching method. Finally, we established a semantic equivalent dictionary for a use case of computing service, and tested the matching method proposed in this paper. The analysis result of the computing case showed that the matching algorithm achieved the goal of design.
